3. **How long does an acupuncture session last?**
  Sessions typically last 45-60 minutes, but your initial session will be a bit longer, 60-90 minutes as a detailed consultation, plus treatment will take place .

4. **How many sessions are usually needed?**
  The number of sessions varies based on the condition being treated. Acupuncture is like going to the gym, it's accumulative, but I always re-evaluate after 4 sessions to see where we're at. 

5. **What should I wear for an acupuncture session?**
  Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing to easily access the acupuncture points, usually on the arms, legs, stomach and back.

6. **Are there any side effects?**
  Side effects are rare, but some may experience mild bruising or soreness at needle insertion sites. Serious complications are extremely uncommon.

7. **Can I eat before an acupuncture session?**
  It's advisable not to have a large meal right before a session, but please make sure you have eaten something and are well hydrated before treatment.

8. **Should I inform my acupuncturist about my medical history?**
  Yes, it's crucial to provide your acupuncturist with your complete medical history, including medications and any ongoing health issues, this can be disclosed in your intake form or at your 1st seesion.
